The Hisaka plate heat exchanger is designed to achieve maximum efficiency in liquid to liquid and liquid to vapour heat transfer. Hisaka PHEs consist of a bank of gasketed and corrugated plates available in a selection of corrosin resistant metals. Cost effective designs for close approach temperatures are available. Future heating / cooling surface can be added for duty changes at a later date.

Less required installation area The lightweight and compact construction reduces the required installation space and the weight to 1/4 and 1/3 of multi-tube type heat exchanger respectively. In addition, lightweight and thin heating plate with volume facilitates the installation work. The plate type can be disassembled for cleaning without isolating from main line, while the multi-tube type needs an additional space for removal of the tubes.
